Interview dan Partai antara Carlsen and Radjabov Round 8

Magnus Carlsen mengatakan setelah pertandingan hari ini bahwa "Anda harus berharap untuk berjuang untuk setiap titik setengah." Carlsen merasa dia punya inisiatif kecil dalamposisi yang kurang lebih sama dan menolak tawaran Rajdabov yang bergerak 19.Mainkan cukup rumit bagi kedua belah pihak dan permainan selesai dalam pengulangansetelah 44 bergerak.

Carlsen: Dia menawari saya menggambar bahkan setelah 19 bergerak seperti hari ini, tapi pada saat itu saya pikir saya sedikit lebih baik jadi tidak ada gunanya menerima.

Saya pikir lawan Anda menjadi benar-benar takut karena Anda bermain sampai akhirsehingga mereka tahu mereka harus berjuang sampai akhir.
